drills, etc.

the dynamic deformation modulus.
Road Maintenance
Another
useful equipment for autonomous evaluation of runway conditions with
data output provided in standard excel sheets is the falling weight
deflectometer. Highly recommended for
highways, local roads, airport pavements, and railway tracks .The FWD is
useful for determining the approximate remaining available pavement life before
rehabilitation will be required.An impulse plate load is employed
simulating traffic loads to the pavement surface and geophone sensors are
utilized to record the vertical deflection shape response of the pavement.The
data is put in the back calculation software which is then used for determining
elastic moduli of pavement layers.
